How to Remove Oil Stains from Clothes

All of us know that fried food is a great risk to our health.  Great hazard is given to our clothes if it contains vegetable oil and the cooking oil as well as their greasy remaining.     Paper towels
    Baking soda
    Old toothbrush
    Dish soap   

2.    A paper towel is used in order to blot the surplus or the excess amount of cooking oil. A white and a plain paper towel is used otherwise it is extremely risky as the dye is the garment is transferred.

3.    Now baking soda is used in order to cover the oil stains. An extremely thick coating of baking soda is required. If baking soda is not available then, you can use cornstarch.

4.    Baking soda is allowed to sit there for at least 30 to 60 minutes. Then, an old toothbrush is taken in order to scrub it. Baking soda starts to clump up as soon as you scrub it. The reason behind this is the ability of baking soda to absorb the oil. The oil colour is taken on with the help of baking soda.

•    Some remains of the baking soda still remains there. No need to worry about. This is ordinary and normal and it is going to wash out.

    And for the hard and the tough stains, the step of the baking soda needs to be repeated. Again, you need to add an extra amount of baking soda and then, again wait for additional 30 to 60 minutes and after that you need to scrub it.

5.    Now, dish soap is taken and you need to pour or over the baking soda. You can gently mix the baking soda and dish soap with the help of your finger. Still dish soap's thin layer is required onto the fabric. And if the fabric soaks the dish soap you just need to add extra dish soap.

6.    The washing machine is used in order to wash the fabric. Instructions should be followed that are given on the care tag. Oil stains are removed with the help of the hot water. But remember all the things cannot be washed in the hot water.

    Around one cup of vinegar is added to the wash cycle. In this way, the detergent is going to become extra effective and efficient and this is going to enhance the effectiveness of the detergent.

7.    Before using the dryer, ensure that the stain is totally removed or gone. In case, if the stain still remains there, then, again try to eradicate the stain. Allow the garment to air dry if the stain still remains there. You can also bring it to the skilled dry cleaner.
