Material Required:


•    Liquid laundry detergent
•    Baking soda
•    Stain remover


Stages for Removing Tea Stains:


1.    In the first step, the tea stain is thoroughly rinsed and washed from the back of the shirt with the help of the water. Make an effort to rinse out and wash the stain as much as it is possible. Make sure that the white shirt is always washed and worked from the back side, so in this way the tea stain is not going to travel a long distance.

2.    The liquid detergent is taken and the tea stain is gently rubbed and scrubbed. The liquid detergent is allowed to stay there on the stain for around five minutes. The tea stain is going to be rubbed with the detergent in case, if the tea stain is dried or old. And allow the cold water to soak and saturate for at least 30 minutes. The clothing is rinsed and washed thoroughly.

3.    Now, a warm water soak is required. If the traces of the tea stains remained there, liquid laundry detergent is rubbed on the tea stain and then, soaks and saturates it in the warm water for at least 10 to 15 minutes.

4.    Now, in this step baking soda is tried. And a thick layer or coating of baking soda is applied directly to the tea stain whereas the tea is still damp and wet. The tea is absorbed by the powder, and the brown color is pulled out of the shirt as well as from the power. Allow it to stay there for the whole night and then, the powder is scraped off. Most of the tea stains are removed and then, the white shirt is tossed in the washing machine.

5.    A stain remover is used. A stick of stain remover is applied on the remain traces of the tea stains. You can ever use spray or a gel. Before washing normally allow it to stay for five minutes.

How to remove tea stains from white shirt by using vinegar.


Material Required:


1.    Vinegar
2.    Laundry Detergent

Vinegar consists of stain removing characteristics as it is an acidic acid. If the laundry detergent is not present then, vinegar can be applied as a good substitute.

Vinegar is directly applied to the wet tea stains. Always ensure that you are going to use white vinegar instead of brown malt vinegar as this can stain even more on your white shirt. The vinegar is allowed to soak for at least 30 minutes in order to dissolve the tea stain and then, wash and rinse once more time. If the laundry detergent is present, then, the shirt is popped in the wash in order to get rid of the smell of the vinegar.

How to Remove Oil Stains from Clothes

3.    Now baking soda is used in order to cover the oil stains. An extremely thick coating of baking soda is required. If baking soda is not available then, you can use cornstarch.

4.    Baking soda is allowed to sit there for at least 30 to 60 minutes. Then, an old toothbrush is taken in order to scrub it. Baking soda starts to clump up as soon as you scrub it. The reason behind this is the ability of baking soda to absorb the oil. The oil colour is taken on with the help of baking soda.

•    Some remains of the baking soda still remains there. No need to worry about. This is ordinary and normal and it is going to wash out.

    And for the hard and the tough stains, the step of the baking soda needs to be repeated. Again, you need to add an extra amount of baking soda and then, again wait for additional 30 to 60 minutes and after that you need to scrub it.

5.    Now, dish soap is taken and you need to pour or over the baking soda. You can gently mix the baking soda and dish soap with the help of your finger. Still dish soap's thin layer is required onto the fabric. And if the fabric soaks the dish soap you just need to add extra dish soap.

6.    The washing machine is used in order to wash the fabric. Instructions should be followed that are given on the care tag. Oil stains are removed with the help of the hot water. But remember all the things cannot be washed in the hot water.

    Around one cup of vinegar is added to the wash cycle. In this way, the detergent is going to become extra effective and efficient and this is going to enhance the effectiveness of the detergent.

7.    Before using the dryer, ensure that the stain is totally removed or gone. In case, if the stain still remains there, then, again try to eradicate the stain. Allow the garment to air dry if the stain still remains there. You can also bring it to the skilled dry cleaner.
